What is supplemental data? | |
| Supplemental data is web-based
material not available in the printed version of Structure. This might
include animations, sounds, or mpeg video sequences. You do not need to be a Subscriber or Registered User to access supplemental data. This is discussed further in Accessing supplemental data. | |
| Can I contact the author of an article? | |
| You can email an author if a link to the authors email address is available at the top of the article. |
| Why do the figures in some articles appear in the wrong order? | |
| For the readers convenience, figures are included after the paragraph where they are first mentioned in the text. An author may need to refer to a figure (for example Figure 4) before the previous figure (Figure 3) has been mentioned in the text. In such an example Figure 4 will appear before Figure 3 in the online version. |
| Why cant I find the article I want when I perform a search? | |
| It may be that there is no article at Structure Online that fits your search criteria, or you may not be using the Search dialog effectively. Use of the Search dialog is discussed in detail in Finding information. |
| Is there any reason why I should download or print the PDF version of an article rather than the version I see in my browser window? | |
| The PDF version of the article will look like the article in the printed version of Structure. However, PDF files take longer to download than HTML pages. This is discussed in Downloading and printing information. |
